PennDOT is introducing a new drivers license that they say will provide more security features.
Officials say the new licenses will include a sophisticated security pattern, a design that will limit visibility of your license, and a dynamic feature that is visible under direct lighting.
The new licenses will start being introduced in Enola later this month before being brought to all other centers by November of this year.
It’s not required to get a new license, but instead it will be given to you after you renew your license when it expires.
