New evidence has been released against a former Butler woman who is the only suspect in the disappearance of a Florida mother.
Officials said Thursday that surveillance video shows Kimberly Kessler wearing all black and going into a convenience store around the time the woman went missing, according to Action News Jax.
The store clerk allegedly told investigators that Kessler seemed anxious as she stood in the store waiting for a cab. The clerk also said Kessler had a red fingermark on her cheekbone, like someone grabbed her by the face or pushed her back.
Investigators believe Kessler’s co-worker, 34-year-old Joleen Cummings, is dead even though they haven’t found her body. Kessler is the only suspect in Cummings’ disappearance. Cummings disappeared in May.
Kessler was born and raised in Butler but police believe she had 18 aliases and had lived in 14 states since then.
