Parts of Butler County have shown a continued trend of population growth over the past decade, according to latest estimates from the U.S. Census Bureau.
There will not be a final tally of the current 2020 census until next year, but the bureau releases estimates each year during the decade between official census totals.
Those latest numbers show estimated population growth of more than 5% since 2010 in Cranberry, Adams, Middlesex, Jackson, Forward, Franklin, Lancaster, and Slippery Rock Townships.
