A man accused of selling cocaine in Lawrence County will spend more than three years in prison after being sentenced this past week.
33-year-old Glenn Samuels of New Castle was sentenced to 37 months in prison along with four years of supervised release.
Samuels was charged in connection to a drug trafficking group that brought cocaine from Puerto Rico to Western PA.
DOJ officials say Samuels would sell the cocaine in New Castle, Ellwood City, and other areas of Lawrence County.
38-year-old Jean Sanchez Tulla of Puerto Rico was also sentenced to nine years in prison as part of the trafficking group.
Lawrence County is still considered a High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area due to its numerous highway and interstate corridors.
