State health leaders say there is some encouraging news about the number of new COVID cases in Pennsylvania.
According to a weekly update, there has been a slight decrease in the seven day average in new cases. There’s also continues to be a drop in statewide hospitalizations.
But, state health leaders still urge people to not let their guard down as COVID continues to spread.
They ask for people to get their booster shots or their first vaccine dose. They also encourage mask wearing in public indoor settings.
