A bridge is Summit Township is now on the books to be renovated in the future.
County officials confirmed yesterday that PennDOT has chosen the “Neigh Wadsworth Bridge”—which is a one lane bridge on Geibel Road.
The project is funded through the Bipartisan Infrastructure Bill—meaning all $2.1 million for the project comes through the federal government.
The commissioners say the bridge is surprisingly busy and are happy to see PennDOT chose it as one of their projects.
However, the bridge replacement isn’t expected to start until 2025.
