Some Butler County residents are without power early Friday.
According to Central Electric, 2,700 residents are in the dark. Most of the outages are in Clearfield, Summit, Oakland and Donegal townships.
West Penn Power customers in Buffalo, Connoquenessing and Middlesex townships are also without power. West Penn is reporting 160 outages.
Overnight storms moved through the area which could be the cause of some of the outages. Crews were also called out to a downed tree on Coal Hollow Road in Buffalo Township about 4:30 a.m. Friday. A portion of Coal Hollow Road is shut down.
