The Pittsburgh Pirates fell to the visiting Washington Nationals on Saturday night by a final of 6-1.
Leading the way offensively for the Pirates, was third baseman Jung Ho Kang with three hits, and catcher Francisco Cervelli, who collected two hits and one walk. As a whole, the Pirates batting order only managed eight hits and left 19 runners on base. Bucco pitcher Ivan Nova was credited with the loss.
The Bucs (77-77 overall) will meet up with the Nationals again Sunday afternoon for the final game of a three game set. First pitch is set for 1:35pm.
