A Butler County company is once again declaring “National Adirondack Day” this weekend.
Adams Manufacturing of Portersville is North America’s largest supplier of outdoor resin furniture. The Adirondack chair is one of their top sellers so the company designated Sunday- the first official day of summer- as the second annual observance of this “holiday”.
This year National Adirondack day coincides with Father’s Day, so those looking for a last minute gift idea are encouraged to visit the Adams Manufacturing website for all kinds of comfortable, fun, and useful options.
The Adirondack chair was first created in 1903 by a man named Thomas Lee while he was vacationing in the Adirondack Mountains.
