The Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup is moving from the Desert Southwest to South Florida … for Ford Championship Weekend at Homestead/Miami Speedway. The Championship Round is here – with Kevin Harvick, Kyle Busch, Jeff Gordon and Martin Truex Junior still in the hunt for the 2015 title. Chase participants have won this race in eight of the eleven years it’s been run as part of NASCAR’s “post-season” format. The non-title contenders to win the Homestead finale during that stretch are Greg Biffle in 2004 and 2006, and Denny Hamlin in 2013.
