The NASCAR Sprint Cup series is back in action Sunday, as they will race the Brickyard 400 at Indianapolis.
For today’s race, Kyle Busch will start on the pole position. Jeff Gordon, who retired at the end of the 2015 season, will drive in today’s race. Gordon will drive Dale Earnhardt Jr.’s #88 car in the Brickyard, and in next week’s race at the Poconos. Earnhardt Jr. is currently unable to race due to a concussion.
Going into the Brickyard 400, the Top Five in the Sprint Cup Standings are:
- Kevin Harvick
- Brad Keselowski
- Kurt Busch
- Carl Edwards
- Joey Logano
