The NASCAR Sprint Cup Series is back in action Saturday at Watkins Glenn, as they will race the Cheez-It 355.
Sunday’s pole sitter will be Carl Edwards. Jeff Gordon, who retired at the end of the 2015 NASCAR season, will be in the driver’s seat again for Dale Earnhardt Jr.’s #88 car. Junior has been sidelined with a concussion for nearly one month, will be out for at least two more races.
The current Top Five in the Sprint Cup Standings going into Sunday’s race are:
- Kevin Harvick
- Brad Keselowski
- Kurt Busch
- Kyle Busch
- Carl Edwards
