Nancy Ireland McCarren, 87, of Butler died peacefully on Thursday, November 3, 2016.
Nancy graduated from Butler High School in 1947. She was a member of St Andrew Roman
Catholic Church and a former member of The Butler Country Club. She was a loving wife to her husband Pat, a loving mother to her six children, a devoted homemaker, a dear friend to many, and a kind heart to all who knew her. She will be greatly missed by those she leaves behind.
Surviving are three sons, Patrick I. (Jennifer) McCarren, Philip M. (Helen Spryn) McCarren and Jeffery T. (Nancy) McCarren, all of Butler; three daughters, Mary Ann (Allen) Snyder of
Pittsburgh, Victoria McCarren of Butler, and Stacy (AI) Feczko, of Butler. Thirteen grandchildren also survive: Ashley (Bob) Frankis, Morgan (Cherie) Snyder, Parker (Kasia) Snyder, Mrs. Francine Snyder, Amy Vanlddekinge, Kira (Rusty) Holt, Philip McCarren, Austin (Taina) McCarren, Jeff McCarren, Clint McCarren, Steven Feczko, Emily Feczko, Maggie Feczko and Bridget Feczko. Fourteen great-grandchildren, one Sister, Beverly Denny and one brother, Charles Ireland also survive.
Nancy was preceded in death by her loving husband of 62 years, Patrick K. McCarren whom
she married on February 20,1950. She was also preceded in death by her parents Walter Vane Ireland and Suzanne Ireland, her brother Walter (Bud) Ireland, and her grandson, Lance Snyder.
The McCarren family extends their sincere thanks to the many good people who helped to take care of Nancy during her last few years with us.
Friends of Nancy McCarren will be received at the Geibel Funeral Home, 201 E. Cunningham St., Butler, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m, on Friday November 11. 2016.
A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a. m. on Saturday November 12 at St Andrew Roman Catholic Church, 1660 N. Main St. Ext., Butler. Reverend Nicholas Argentieri will officiate. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery, Butler, PA.
