There is still time for residents to join a local nonprofit organization for a free educational program for adults dealing with a mental health condition.
Peer to Peer is an eight week program sponsored by NAMI, or the National Alliance on Mental Illness, that begins a week from today at 5:30 p.m. and continues weekly through August 1st at NAMI’s Butler office in the Holly Pointe Building.
This two-hour in-person class will include course materials provided at no cost. Trained leaders with lived experience will introduce activities, facilitate discussions, and present informative videos.
Class size is limited. Those interested in participating should call or visit the website of NAMI to register by tomorrow (Wednesday).
