Police are investigating after numerous name plates of United States Military Veterans were stolen from a local cemetery.
The Mercer State Police say that sometime between 7am and 8pm on June 30th, at least one unknown suspect stole those brass name plates from the Millbank Cemetery in Fredonia.
Authorities say that these stolen nameplates also served as flag holders for the graves of these veterans.
No other damages were reported. If you have any information about this case, you’re asked to call the Mercer State Police.
