Starting Thursday, constituents trying to get in contact with Pennsylvania State Representative Marci Mustello can call or visit her new office.
The Republican lawmaker has moved her District 11 office from Lyndora to Barracks Road in Butler Township. The office will be located on the first floor of the former Kerven Subaru dealership off New Castle Road, next to the Pennsylvania State Police barracks.
The office hours will remain the same- weekdays from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. An open house will be held on Aug. 22 from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Mustello cited accessibility as the reason for the move- saying this new space will be in a more centralized location.
“Fulfilling my responsibilities as an effective and accessible state representative is my top priority,” Mustello said in a statement. “Stopping by my office is one way for constituents to let me know what they think we ought to be doing here at home and in Harrisburg. I invite everyone to visit or give us a call because we are here to serve you.”
The lawmaker, from Butler Township, was sworn-in earlier this year to complete the term of former State Rep. Brian Ellis after his resignation.
She initially moved into Ellis’ former office.
The 11th Legislative District in Butler County includes the city of Butler; Chicora, Connoquenessing, Fairview, Karns City, Petrolia, Prospect and Saxonburg boroughs; as well as Butler, Clearfield, Connoquenessing, Donegal, Fairview, Jefferson, Oakland and Summit townships.
