A number of emergency response units were dispatched to Mars Thursday evening after reports of a possible electrical fire.
The call came into the Butler County 911 Center just before 5 p.m. of smoke coming from outlets in the back of the Mars Travel Center on Grand Avenue.
Crews from Adams Township, Harmony, Cranberry, and Callery were among those dispatched to investigate the apartment behind that building.
Most firefighters were put back in service within a half hour but some stayed to speak with the property owner about an electrical situation.
