UPDATE (10am Friday):
At least two people have died in an early Friday morning crash along Interstate 79, just south of Butler County.
The multi-vehicle accident happened about 3 a.m. shortly after the Parkway North (I-279) split.
WPXI-TV is reporting a 30-year-old female driver was traveling the wrong way on I-79 when she collided head-on with a vehicle driven by a 20-year-old male driver. Both were killed instantly.
Others involved in the crash suffered minor injuries. Five vehicles were reportedly involved.
The southbound lanes of Interstate 79 in Franklin Park remained closed until about 8 a.m.

Police say a female driver was traveling the wrong way on I-79 when she collided with a male driver, killing him.
The accident happened just after the Parkway North Split about 3 a.m.
All lanes on I-79 south beyond the I-279 split are closed.
Traffic is being re-directed onto I-279.
