It’s ‘Move In Day’ for new students at Slippery Rock University in Butler County.
All 1,500 freshman will move in today. This is different than in years past when the ‘move-ins’ were spaced out. Students and their families have scheduled arrival times to help ease the process. More than 400 faculty, staff and returning students are scheduled to volunteer to help new students moving in.
Other orientation activities will take place on Friday and throughout the weekend.
The first day of classes at SRU will be Monday, Aug. 27.
