No injuries were reported after a vehicle struck a tractor trailer last week in Jackson Township.
According to State Police, a 23-year-old Aliquippa woman was traveling northbound on I-79 around 7:30am on Friday (April 10th) when she crossed a bridge and swiped the trailer of a northbound truck.
Authorities say that the woman then lost control and hit a concrete barrier on the side of the bridge. Her vehicle then came to a final rest in a nearby median.
No additional vehicles were involved. Police plan to charge the woman with a traffic violation.
