At least one person has been injured as a result of an accident in Slippery Rock Township Tuesday afternoon.
The call came into the Butler County 911 Center shortly before 2 p.m. for a collision between a truck and a motorcycle on William Flynn Highway (Route 8 North) near Duffy Road.
Emergency responders from Slippery Rock and Butler EMS arrived on the scene. A helicopter was put on standby and cancelled shortly after. A witness reported the motorcyclist under the vehicle.
The condition of those involved and the cause of the crash are both unknown at this time.
