The motorcyclist involved in a crash Thursday afternoon in Lancaster Township has died.
Authorities say 26-year-old Leroy G. Hill IV of New Castle was on a bike on Route 19 about 1:30 p.m. when he was struck from behind by a car. He died as a result of the accident.
State police have not released the name of the automobile driver.
A portion of Route 19 in Lancaster was closed for four hours following the crash.
