A crash last weekend in neighboring Mercer County has resulted in the death of a motorcyclist.
According to State Police, 58-year-old Phillip Leise of Hadley was driving his Harley Davidson near the intersection of Steck Road and Perry Highway in Sandy Creek Township around 5:30 p.m. Sunday.
A truck driven by 50-year-old Jonathan Johnson of Meadville failed to yield at a stop sign and entered the intersection without clearance, resulting in the crash.
Leise sustained fatal injuries. An investigation concluded that Johnson was under the influence of alcohol at the time of the crash.
