At least one person has been seriously injured as a result of a motorcycle crash Thursday afternoon in Lancaster Township.
The call came into the Butler County 911 Center just before 1:30 p.m. for the accident in the 700 block of Route 19 (Perry Highway).
Emergency responders from Harmony District were among the first to arrive on scene where bystanders had started CPR on the motorcyclist who was not breathing and did not have a pulse. The motorcyclist was also reportedly not wearing a helmet.
A helicopter was put on standby but then canceled. A second vehicle was reportedly on fire. A portion of Route 19 near Wagners junkyard has been shut down and motorists should avoid that area if possible.
