The mother of a homicide suspect remains in jail after a judge denied her attorney’s request for a bail reduction.
Kristen Lee Herold, 43, of Wexford was in court Monday asking to have her bail reduced to allow her to be released from the Butler County Prison.
The judge denied the request, according to court records.
Herold has been in jail since the end of March when she was arrested in connection with the death of 4-year-old Butler toddler Bentley Miller.
Herold’s son was charged with killing Miller but police allege Herold provided false information to police about the whereabouts of her son and did not drive the toddler directly to the hospital when she knew he was seriously injured.
