Following a ceremony this morning, students will have more options to choose from if they want to start college at BC3, and then transfer to SRU.
Five agreements will be signed today between the two institutions, which will pave the way for SRU transfer programs in new study areas- including petroleum and natural gas engineering, nursing BSN online program, park management, physical activity and fitness management, and nonprofit management.
Butler County is one of only two counties in Pennsylvania with both a community college and an institution in Pennsylvania’s State System of Higher Education. Each year, officials say about 200 students transfer from BC3 to SRU.
