Police are providing more information on a crash involving two military vehicles that happened earlier this month.
The accident happened Saturday, March 2nd on I-79 southbound in Jackson Township near the Zelienople on-ramp.
Police say an unknown vehicle pulled onto I-79 without giving enough clearance to a military vehicle. That forced the first military vehicle to brake quickly, causing a chain reaction crash with the trailing military vehicle.
That vehicle was driven by 21-year-old Zachary Korotko of Monroeville, who was injured and taken to UPMC Passavant.
The first military vehicle had minor damage; the other vehicle had to be towed from the scene.
