Saturday is Fish for Free Day across the State of Pennsylvania and local residents are invited to take advantage of some great weather at Moraine State Park.
Moraine is offering a Family Fishing program from 9 to 11 a.m. on Saturday at the Bear Run Boat Launch on the South Shore.
Basic fishing skills will be taught and equipment provided but adults must bring a child and children must bring an adult. Pre-registration is required by calling the park office. Participants should wear a face covering and practice social distancing.
Anyone can enjoy Fish for Free Day and fish in public waterways with no license but all other fishing regulations still apply.
