It’s a great weekend to enjoy some outdoor activities at Moraine State Park.
First, a Full Moon Paddle will be held Friday from 7 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. meeting at McDanel’s Launch on the North Shore. Kayaks and gear will be provided or participants can bring their own. Pre-registration is required.
Then, a Night Hike is scheduled for Saturday from 8 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at the Outdoor Classroom, also on the North Shore. A park naturalist will discuss amazing creatures of the nighttime world, like owls. Those interested in attending this activity should bring a flashlight.
