A local state park will be looking for volunteers this weekend to help complete a variety of tasks to spruce up one of its beaches.
On Saturday, Moraine State Park is asking for volunteers of any and all skill levels to come to Pleasant Valley from 9am until noon.
Many of the projects will include working on the shoreline, boat launch, and beach of Pleasant Valley. Lunch will be provided by the park on Saturday.
Volunteers are asked to dress for the weather, and to bring their own work gloves. For more information, call the park office at 724-368-8811.
