The public is welcome to enjoy summer on the water with an event Friday at Moraine State Park.
A Heron and Kingfisher Paddle will be led by park staff from 10 a.m. to noon tomorrow on the South Shore.
Using a kayak is a great way to observe and learn more about these birds and their natural habitat at Lake Arthur.
Reservations are required. This event is for ages 12 and older; kids under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Call the park office at 724-368-8811 for more information.
