Monster Energy Series haulers will roll into Sonoma Raceway today as preparations continue for Sunday’s Toyota/Save Mart 350, the first of three road races on the 2018 schedule. The first on-track action will come with opening practice on Friday at 2:40 pm. Qualifying is scheduled for Saturday morning on the two-mile Northern California circuit. Kevin Harvick is the defending winner of Sunday’s race and will be gunning for two straight this weekend. Jeff Gordon is the only driver with back-to-back wins in Sonoma since the track first hosted NASCAR in 1989. He won three straight from 1998 through 2000. Hear Sunday’s race on WBUT 1050am at 2pm.
