The Moniteau Warriors softball team will meet South Park this afternoon at North Allegheny high school in the PIAA Class Double-A semifinals. Game time is 4pm and will be carried “live” on the MSA Sports Network (msasport.net). Moniteau enters the game 23-1 overall. South Park is 16-4.
Interestingly….Moniteau defeated Ellwood City in the state quarterfinals last week 10-0 in five innings. Ellwood City defeated South Park in the WPIAL championship game. Moniteau’s lone loss of the season was to Philpsburg-Osceola.
