The Moniteau baseball team defeated Karns City 6-2 Wednesday to claim their first District 9 Double-A championship. The Warriors had been runner-up three consecutive seasons.
The Moniteau softball team defeated Cranbrerry 4-0 to claim their third consecutive District 9 Double-A championship.
Both teams will begin their PIAA tournaments next week.
