There have been on-again, off-again power outages Monday morning in Butler Township, and surrounding areas, related to an earlier transformer fire.
Crews were alerted to the transformer on Boyd Drive in Butler Township about 9 a.m.
Power to some residents in Butler and Center townships, as well as the city of Butler, have been affected.
West Penn Power crews have been working to fix the transformer and hope to have all power restored by this afternoon.
