–Karns City-2 Redbank Valley-0. Hannah Knoll and Hunter Ditman scored for the Gremlins.
–Pine-Richland-7 Shaler-0.

–Freeport-4 Deer Lakes-3. Kaylee Comperatore led the Yellow Jackets with two goals, including the game-winner. Carlie Giori and Lexi Dell added the other Freeport goals, who are now 9-2 overall and 6-0 in section-play.

Girls Golf:
–Butler-175 Armstrong-203. Butler’s Hannah Folk was the medalist with a 37. The Golden Tornado improved to 10-2 overall and 8-1 in their section. They take on Seneca Valley Thursday at Connoquenessing Country Club.

–Punxsutawney won the District-9 Class 2A Golf title Monday. Moniteau finished third. The event was played at the Pennhills Golf Club in Bradford. Moniteau’s Weston Kimmey was the runner-up in the individual event with an 82, and has advanced to the District-9 individual championship this Saturday at the Treasure Lake Silver course in Dubois. Also qualifying were Moniteau’s Nate Tack, along with Karns City’s Logan Pistorius and Hunter Gifford.
