A plan is in place and being carried out for large-scale mold testing within the South Butler County School District.
After walking through all district buildings with school administrators on Thursday, a project manager with a Pittsburgh air quality company has delivered recommendations.
According to Superintendent Dr. David Foley air samples are being collected from 48 different locations within the district Friday and results are expected by the middle of next week.
Foley says a recent reading from the room with abnormally high levels of mold spores on Wednesday has registered back in the normal range so the teacher and students were returned to that classroom Friday.
