The Model T International Annual Tour started in Butler County over the weekend with a car show.
Nearly 200 of these antique vehicles made a stop at Roebling park in Saxonburg on Sunday afternoon.
The owners enjoyed lunch at Cooper Hall and then visited with the public outside as many from the area came to see the vehicles. Some of the Model T’s were being judged just outside of the hall.
Owners from around the country were a part of the stop in Saxonburg…Some traveling quite the distance.
“We have almost every state represented…from California, to Texas to Florida,” Simon Neubert, president of the Western PA Model T Ford Club & Chairman of the club’s 62nd annual tour, said in an interview on Sunday. “We have a couple here from Australia.”
Simon Neubert and his family live in Southern Butler County.
The Model Ts will be making multiple stops throughout Butler County this week, through Friday, July 20. When you see them, keep in mind, they don’t travel as fast as modern-day cars. You might experience a bit of delay, as they likely will travel in a group.
