Emotions are all across the board when it comes to the inauguration of President-Elect Trump today.
Chairman of the Butler County Republican Committee Ed Natali is excited, but he realizes not everyone is.
“When I look back and reflect eight years ago, my mood was certainty different than it is today,” Natali said.
Natali recognizes the divide this election has brought- even here in Butler County- but believes Trump will be able to bridge the gap and bring people together.
“Everyone has to remember that we are all Americans,” he said. “I hope we do get past the negativity and look at the positive things, and I’m excited to see those positive things.”
The Butler County Republican Committee will celebrate with an inaugural gala tonight, which Natali says in part is to recognize local people who have worked hard over the last year to make this victory a reality.
