A man from Armstrong County- who had been missing since Christmas- has been found dead.
70-year-old Kenneth Himes was staying at his brother’s home on Cadogan Slate Lick Road in South Buffalo Township for the holidays when he walked away.
Himes had autism and dementia and in the days following his disappearance, crews searched through woods and a pond, but nothing was found.
On Tuesday, State Police said DNA tests have confirmed that a body found in late March in the Allegheny River- near the Fox Chapel Yacht Club- was that of Himes.
Police say no foul play is suspected.
