An Armstrong County man who was reported missing last month has been found dead, and another man is facing charges.
56-year-old David Kimberly was reported missing in late September after he was last seen at his Plumcreek Township home.
Police then found Kimberly’s van over the weekend in a wooded area. During an investigation, police interviewed 33-year-old Cody Weiland who admitted to shooting and killing Kimberly.
Weiland told police he moved Kimberly’s body to a remote location in Jefferson County—and that’s where police found the body over the weekend.
At the moment, there was no word on what motivated the crime.
