Minor injuries were reported in an early Friday morning crash on Route 28 in O’Hara Township.
According to the State Police, the crash happened around 12:30am Friday on the northbound side of Route 28 near the Exit 8 off ramp. Officials say that the driver, an 18-year-old Pittsburgh man, was driving too fast into a curve, and then went off the side of the ramp and hit a jersey barrier.
Authorities say both the driver and his passenger, a 20-year-old Cheswick woman, were both taken to St. Margaret’s Hospital for treatment of minor injuries. Their car also had to be towed from the scene.
No charges are expected to be filed.
