Athletes in the Slippery Rock area will be testing themselves at a yearly event this weekend.
The 10th annual Campus Recreation Mini Triathlon is scheduled for this Sunday (4/23) at the Aebersold Student Recreation Center beginning at 7:30 a.m. Check in starts at 6 a.m.
This event will take place rain or shine and will include a 425 yard swim, a 10.5 mile bike ride, and a 2.5 mile run.
Ages 16 to 55 plus will compete in pre-set brackets and another division will be made up of relay teams. Registration is $30 for SRU students, $45 for the general public, $60 for SRU student teams, and $75 for teams made up of members of the general public.
