Neighbors of the controversial Geyer gas wells in Middlesex Township are complaining of noise.
Some residents showed up at the township supervisors meeting Wednesday to say the noise at the work site has been increasing and that it is particularly noisy between 11 p.m. and 3 a.m. The supervisors said they would pass along the message to Rex Energy.
The five Rex Energy natural gas wells on Denny Road received permits last year from the state but work was stopped because of a lengthy appeals process. Work began again on Monday.
