It was a brief, but explosive storm that hit the Butler area Monday afternoon.
A roll of thunder was heard just a little after 2 p.m. in the City of Butler. It was soon followed by gusty winds and heavy hail.
The microburst lasted not much longer than 5 minutes, but caused a lot of damage.
The Butler County 911 Center handled a number of calls for downed trees and wires.
There were multiple residents who had significant damage to trees and other damage to their homes.
