A fugitive from Mexico has been arrested in Butler Township.
Police found 39-year-old Fidel Chavez Monrroy on New Castle Road last week. They knew him to be wanted out of the Greenville County Sheriff’s Office in South Carolina for allegedly having sexual relations with a minor.
Butler Township Police arrested Monrroy without incident. He was placed in the Butler County Prison on a $250,000 cash bond to await extradition.
