Daniel Murphy hit a home run in the eighth inning of the game. He broke a Major League Baseball record with a home run in his sixth consecutive game.
The Toronto Blue Jays forced a game six following a 7-1 victory Wednesday. The Kansas City Royals now lead the best-of-seven ALCS 3-2. Kansas City will host Toronto tomorrow night, with a potential game seven Saturday. The World Series will begin Tuesday.
