We now know that seven people were arrested for allegedly operating a meth lab out of a Butler City apartment.
Three of them are siblings- Jesse, Jonah and Sarah Post- were detained, as well as Christopher Bedner, Coleen Boley, Thomas Clark and Sarah Gamble. Sarah Post and Bedner both live at the home; Jonah Post and Jesse Post are both from Erie County; Clark and Boley are from Butler; there was no address for Gamble.
Butler City Police officers executed a search warrant on the West Cunningham Street apartment Tuesday afternoon and found a suspected “single-pot cook operation” in one of the bedrooms, according to a police criminal complaint by Butler City Police Sgt. Ben Spangler. The State Police Clandestine Lab Team assisted in seizing potentially dangerous and hazardous materials used to cook meth.
Police say the apartment is inside of a home that has several other apartments, which are occupied. “Occupants were put at risk while the defendants manufactured methamphetamine inside their apartment,” according to the complaint. The home sits in front of the Salvation Army and just down the street from the city district judge office and the Butler County Prison.
