A Mercer County teenager is in critical but stable condition after he was shot on Saturday night in Sandy Lake Township.
The State Police in Mercer say that around 9pm on Saturday, an unidentified 15-year-old was shot in the arm. He was taken to the Grove City Medical Center for treatment of life threatening injuries, and was later transported to Children’s Hospital in Pittsburgh.
Authorities say that 18-year-old Tristan Schaffer is accused of shooting the gun, and is currently in the Mercer County Jail. He is charged with Aggravated Assault, Simple Assault, and Recklessly Endangering another Person.
