A third Democrat has entered the race for the 16th Congressional District.
Mercer County resident Edward DeSantis announced that he will be seeking the seat currently held by Republican Mike Kelly.
DeSantis works in finance and cites the environment, education, and healthcare as major platforms of his campaign.
He joins the Democratic primary along with Daniel Smith Jr. of Zelienople and Kristy Gnibus of Erie.
